Each day the world is moving a step closer to sustainability by implementing new and improved green practices. Special promotions have been offered to get gas guzzlers off of the road, famous figures have urged us to be mindful of our "flushing habits," and now New Homes Inc., a California based home Improvement Company, is working to make green construction readily available.

New Homes Inc. plans to open a chain of 25 stores throughout California that will offer the best in construction and installation of green products. Rich Rifkin, CEO of the environmentally-friendly company said, "I decided to create a company that would link construction trades to the green movement." By offering free environmental education and certification/training programs for homeowners and professional, New Homes Inc. will make sustainable construction opportunities available to all.
As building standards across the world change, green construction has become a staple of society. Likewise, social networking has become a key to a successful business. Therefore, New Home Inc. is also launching a site with live chat, virtual conference rooms and up-to-date blogs. A company with so much forward thinking is bound to get great use out of promotional products as well.

At a past Green Build International Expo, professionals boasted the latest and greatest in green building products. Another California business, Rana Creek, offered their living roofs service/products to visitors to the expo. This business allows for plants to grown on rooftops to catch and filter rainwater in urban areas in hopes to eliminated over-run sewage systems. This helps to conserve water, and personalized bags like the one the woman is wearing in picture above helps to make that eco-friendly company memorable. Likewise, all tradeshow giveaways from the expo helped to promote individual sustainable businesses in achieving success.
Another stand out company from the Green Build expo was the Smart Strand, Mohawk Industries carpeting. They use corn in the manufacturing of some of their carpets. Their awesome promotional display of corn made from yarn was an effective way to create a buzz for their business.
The Green Build International Expo will be heading to Arizona in November and is sure to feature amazing green businesses like, New Home Inc. and utilize eco-friendly promotional products for the satisfaction of attendees and exposure for the businesses.
